Wittlebee Recap Boxes 3 & 4

In preparation for my fifth Wittlebee box, I wanted to share with you my third and fourth boxes.  I love this subscription service so much!  For $39.99 you get 6 pieces of clothing for your child, and no meltdowns at the store.  I have been a subscriber from back when they had more items in the box with less high-end brands, so I do get more items than new subscribers.  However, the six items is a steal for the value of over $100 worth in each box!

In addition to receiving an awesome box of surprises for Livvy every month, Wittlebee also donates a onesie to a baby in need for every box that is purchased.  Have I mentioned that I love a company that gives back to the community??!!

You can see my original review of Wittlebee HERE.

Box #3's lovely goodies!

Yellow outfit is Baby Headquarters, Froggy outfit is Carter's Watch the Wear.

Pink outfit is Isabella and Max, Flowered outfit is my coveted Baby Lulu!

Dress and leggings by Tea Collection.  This is easily my favorite brand and I was so excited to see this dress!!!

Striped tank by Luca Charles and pink tank is super soft, I just can't remember the name :)  The is nothing that compares to Luca for super softness!

Box #4's awesomeness!!!

Rumble Tumble Romper and Skirt

Kicky Pants bamboo shirt (so soft!) and Baby Headquarters Pants

Luca Charles Thermal Shirt (Love this!) and Haute Stuff karate pants (these are very soft as well!)

Gunamuna Bamboo/Cotton Gunapod Wearable Blanket

Safety and comfort.  Two words that come to mind when I think about what I need for my baby to sleep at night.  I need to make sure she will be safe in her cradle.  This means no loose, heavy blankets to get in her face, but the ability to keep her warm and snuggly.  Meet the Gunapod, wearable blanket from Gunamuna.  Now, I know there are millions (okay, not really, but there are a lot!) of companies that have designed wearable blankets, so what makes the Gunapod different, you ask?

It's called WONDERZiP.  I have never seen a wearable blanket that has a zipper like this! It has 4 all-around zipper pulls for easy on and off, diaper changes, temperature regulation, and the baby's personal preference.  Unzip the bottom portion of the Gunapod to change you sweetie's bum, let them kick their little tootsies, or cool them down if they become too warm!  You can also unzip the bottom to allow you to properly strap the baby into the stroller or carseat while they are wearing the Gunapod.

The neatest thing about the WONDERZiP is that you can completely open up the Gunapod to put the baby in the blanket if they are already sleeping!  No slipping it on over their head and waking them up.  The zipper opens all the way to the other side and the shoulders unsnap for wake-free dressing.  To me, this is 100% unique, and I love this feature.

It comes with this nifty tag that shows you all the different ways you can use your Gunapod.

The Natural Collection Bamboo Gunapod is bright and cheerful!  I received orange, but it is also available in a hot pink dot or a brown dot as well and retails for $39.50.  Each one has a slightly different hand-sewn patch to make it unique and special. This version is lighter weight and made from 70% bamboo viscose and 30% cotton so it is super-duper soft!  The fabric is pre-shrunk, so you know that it won't look wonky when you pull it from the dryer.  The bamboo Gunapod is also antibacterial, breathable, moisture-wicking and eco-friendly.  It is made from 100% naturally grown and sustainable bamboo that is grown without pesticides, fertilizers or chemicals and no irrigation is required for it's growth aside from natural rainfall.  I love using a product that has a great-carbon footprint!

The inside has a smooth, fuzzy texture.

The Gunapod is also a lot longer than any other wearable blanket.  The size small that I received looks like it will fit Livvy for a long time!  I plan to use this one through the winter by layering a warmer sleeper on underneath.

As you can see, she didn't mind wearing it at all!  She still had plenty of room inside of the Gunapod to kick her feet around and roll back and forth.

See, easy for changing!

The Gunapod is also available in 100% polyester fleece for a warmer, fluffier blanket for winter.  The Classic collection Solid Gunapod comes in light pink, brown, blue and ivory and retails for 29.50.  The Party Collection Striped Gunapod comes in purple, olive, blue and orange and retails for 34.50.

Another really cool thing about Gunamuna?  They adhere to the strictest standards of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the CPSIA, and the British Safety Standard so you know that by using the Gunapod, your child is not only comfortable, but safe too.  Peace of mind is a wonderful thing.

You can follow Gunamuna on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.  Be sure to check out their YouTube as well!

Wittlebee

Our most recent Wittlebee box
A couple months ago, I found, through the glory that is Facebook, my new addiction.  Wittlebee.  Wittlebee is a monthly subscription box full of brand new kid's clothing in sizes from 0-3 months to 5T.  Boxes are $39.99 with free shipping.  I immediately began stalking their Facebook page drooling over all the pictures of the awesomeness that goes into each grab bag-style box.  And what luck!  I just happened to be lurking on their page one day, when I saw a link for a flash sale they were having.  I got my 1st box for $9.99!

Wittlebee stocks items from brands such as Luca Charles, Baby Lulu, Tea Collection, Crazy 8, Gap, Old Navy, Carters, American Apparel, etc

The boxes focus on basics such as onesies, leggings, tees, etc. in solid colors (for easy mixing) with a few fun prints thrown in.  Each Wittlebee box contains 8 items of clothing matching with the style preferences you choose upon signing up.  You can identify up to 3 favorite colors and graphic types, and pick items your child needs most (onesies, leggings, tees, shorts, dresses/skirts, socks, etc)  You also have the option of talking to a stylist or leaving personalized notes on your account page that a stylist will look at before packing your box.

I had a few replacement items from last month
You can specify whether your child (or you!)  likes the Princess, Diva, Hipster, Preppy or Geeky, Sporty or Mix and Match Style. The Princess loves polka dots, shades of pink and purple, and whimsy. The Diva box is for the ultimate girly girl who simply can't get enough pink, ruffles or frills.  The Hipster is most comfortable in graphic t-shirts, earth tones, and hip prints.  The Preppy/Geek (for boys and girls) box features collared shirts, khaki pants, plaids, clean lines, and comfy fits. The Sporty box (also for boys and girls) has durable clothes, athletic material, bright colors, and sprightly prints.  Mix and Match is just what it says, a little bit of each style.

Livvy's Baby Lulu dresses
They have a 100% Customer Satisfaction policy and will do everything they can to make you happy!  If there is an item or two you don't care for or doesn't fit, you can email customer service and they will send replacement items in your next months box.  As with any new company, they are still ironing the kinks out, but that is to be expected.

This month in her box, Olivia received 11 items (we had 3 replacement items from last month.)  Our awesome stylist hit the nail on the head.  I loved every piece of clothing we received.  We got 2 awesome Baby Lulu dresses.  Baby Lulu by Erin Murphy was introduced to me through Wittlebee, and I can honestly say it is my favorite brand of clothing for Liv now!  The pieces are really soft and pretty and have all kinds of embellishments on them.  We also received a Pink striped Teddy Boom Jumper, a pink Bon Bebe Jumper with matching polka dot shorts, an orange Carter's jumper and matching pink heart leggings, a rumble tumble strawberry romper with matching polkadot skirt.  And to top it all off, an aqua and white striped, velvety-soft Luca Charles tank and black eyelet Tea Collection leggings!  Our stylist totally spoiled us this month!   I, for one, am a very happy Mama and will continue to be a Wittlebee customer for a long time to come!
